“I have an informed yet flexible approach to counseling. I am dedicated to assisting the profound improvement to the state of our mental health community and societal awareness therein, creatively helping those working to deepen and transform their lives to find personal fulfillment.”

Severe family trauma whether from recent diagnosis, domestic violence, disabilities impact needing care, solution focused to manage the pain and grief of transitions, to coping skills and developing actionable healing plans. My unique expertise and training bring an extensive toolbox from which to aid clients in managing the effects and formulating effective solutions to bring joy, satisfaction and stability for the entire family.

I bring diagnostic and solution focused experience that includes 22 years in the field of behavioral health, working with individuals ages 12 months to over 70 years. I transform clients lives through incorporating evidence-based proof research, using applied behavior analysis, collaborative learning theory, cognitive and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and social skills training with children and adults. My background working with clients to create lasting change from a wide range of mental challenges to empowerment in outpatient and inpatient settings, educational, in-home and in community environments.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and then obtained my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (with a Specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy) from Our Lady of the Lake University. I obtained my licenses as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), (originally obtaining a BCaBA in 2002), and I am a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). Currently pursuing a Doctorate in Theology.
