“In the end, what is best is not what happens on the outside but what happens on the inside. Your choices really do make a difference, but the real difference that they make is how they change you.” - David Aaron
I received my Master of Social Work degree from Our Lady of the Lake University of San Antonio, Texas in 1990, and completed my Bachelor of Social Work degree at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
I have had a colorful Social Work experience prior to now being in private practice. I have worked at Medical and Mental Health Hospitals, inpatient and outpatient services with adult, child, adolescent, Individual, family, couples counseling, foster care, and a bit more. However, I must say that some of the greatest lessons came from life events; life experiences, family, marriage, children, friends, co-workers, etc. These events made me question life and to have a desire to know. I am still on the path of learning, and I feel gratitude for all the people and events that come into my life as a teacher.
I believe our paths cross for greater purposes, and our life events we experience are all sacred instruments of learning. It will be a pleasure and an honor to hear your story and the possibility of being a coach on the sidelines for you.
