“Dance when you’re broken open. Dance, if you’ve torn the bandage off. Dance in the middle of fighting. Dance when you’re perfectly free. Live where you fear to live.”

~Rumi

I received a PhD and Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work and have been working in the mental and behavioral health field for over 7 years. I started my journey in the field as the Director of Programs and Social Services for a non-profit organization that served individuals and families affected by obsessive compulsive disorder and most recently with a program that focuses on opioid addiction. I am trained in eye movement and desensitization reprocessing, cognitive behavior therapy and exposure therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
