Gina Baiamonte, Founder/Owner received her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, University Park in Humanities and Fine Art.  She received additional training at the University of San Antonio, working on her Master’s in Fine Arts – painting, Studio Arts International Florence, Italy and University of South Florida in Tampa.  She went on to receive her Master’s in Clinical Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho and practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor,  Chemical Dependency Counselor, Trauma and Certified Trauma Counselor.

Gina received additional training at the EMDR Institute (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a therapy that helps many people find relief from stress, is currently practiced by the military for our veterans with PTSD and used to alleviate a multitude of mental health issues.  This healing happens by getting to the root cause, using unconditional positive regard, resolving negative core beliefs and replacing them with healthier thinking patterns.

Deborah Feinsilver received her Bachelors in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin.She later pursued a masters degree in psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas where she specialized in marriage and family therapy. Deborah trained and worked at Houston Galveston Institute, a non-profit organization, known for its groundbreaking work in collaborative language systems therapy. She was a part of several therapeutic research programs one resulting in her co-authoring a chapter for Collaborative Therapy: Relationships and Conversations that Make a Difference.” Currently Deborah practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Recently trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Deborah believes that this therapy modality is a vital means for discovering life themes that are not working for us in order that we can replace them with new ones that promote growth and strength. The only therapy protocol approved by the United States military for the treatment of trauma, EMDR has been successful in the treatment for a wide range of therapeutic needs.

Christine River Block PhD., LCSW

I received a PhD and Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work and have been working in the mental and behavioral health field for over 7 years. I started my journey in the field as the Director of Programs and Social Services for a non-profit organization that served individuals and families affected by obsessive compulsive disorder and most recently with a program that focuses on opioid addiction. I am trained in eye movement and desensitization reprocessing, cognitive behavior therapy and exposure therapy, cognitive processing therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy for individuals with intellectual disabilities. I believe that everyone has the tools to achieve their best health sometimes need help learning to use them.

Kateri Perez- received her undergraduate degrees of Psychology and Human Development Family Studies and Master in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston. As part of her work with clients she also includes different components such as feminist therapy, art, journaling, reading, writing, and mindfulness to the therapeutic experience. Kateri has experience working with groups, (from ages 6 years old and up), individuals, and families. She has worked with people from various backgrounds and considered an LGBTQ advocate.

As a counselor, you will find me responsive, warm, engaging, and thoughtful.  My job in our work together is to help you clarify your personal goals and strengths and contribute tools to your mental/ emotional toolbox so you can achieve your goals and dreams in the most efficient manner. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor and a Doctor of Organizational Leadership originally from Houston, Texas. I have also practiced in San Antonio, Texas for a good portion of my career. I earned my B.A. in French from the University of Houston then my M.A. in Community Counseling with the University of Texas at San Antonio. Eventually, I decided to earn my Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from the University of the Incarnate Word. My love of understanding and helping others from cultural and personal perspectives led to me follow my interests in my education and to also study and live abroad. I am a woman of Creole descent (African American, French /European, Native American, and Hispanic/ Latina) and am sensitive to and respectful of issues of culture, spirituality, and ethnicity in my clients’ lives.
